Gaia Orion is an artist I came across in my quest to visualize universal laws in the performing arts. Gaia’s curiosity, openness and sensitivity to natural connections resonated deeply with me. In particular, her feminine approach and choice of means to represent the cyclical processes of life have an intense and inspiring effect on me.
We have collaborated in numerous virtual Integral Art Labs in a complementary way. Now I am very much looking forward to a real exhibition of new works by the artist with this speaking title „Awakening Landscapes“ in one of the cities where I myself lived for several years as a young woman, Paris.
I see in these new works cycles, rhythms, movement, patterns, colors, energies and void. There is a lot of void in these Awakening Landscapes. I perceive that these experiences occur in me and through me, a being between heaven and earth, through my presence in front of a painting. I perceive that through the mirror of the experience a connection with this void, with the field, opens up when I allow myself to surrender to it and begin to relax into this dimension.
The invitation is to allow yourself to participate in this completely new experience with an image through the facilitated process in the Integral Art Lab, and to share this experience in the encounter with others.
True awakening simply sees through everything and has nothing whatsoever to do with behaviors or experience.
Neither does awakening come and go. When it comes, it stays forever.Awakening is the permanent dissolving of the separate self and occurs through a physical mutation within the body.
To be awake is a grand dilemma. No matter what you say it will be misinterpreted, so in the end you simply say whatever you say and trust in the vibration underneath it.

Integral Art Lab: Awakening

The Integral Art Lab (IAL) is a u.lab 2x prototype (Theory U by Otto Scharmer | Presencing Institute) in which we explore the unfolding of creativity and consciousness. In a structural framework over 90 minutes, we engage in aesthetic experiences with the intention of generating new information on the topic at hand and to actualize our form of self-knowledge and co-creativity.
The Integral Art Lab (IAL) is a practical exercise that invites to a dynamic process in which we gain a deeper understanding of the artist’s intention with the title of the exhibition and the messages of the individual paintings through elements of meditation/contemplation, dialogue/transparent communication, aesthetic experience/journaling, sharing/listening. As a participant, all that is needed is your interest in being there and wanting to contribute.
